The new Mountain Goats album – Heretic Pride – is released on February 18th (February 19th in the USA).

It’s called “Sax Rohmer #1” – and, as befits a song from a record crammed with mythical creatures, imaginary cults and slasher films reveries, it’s inspired by the pulp fiction novelist who created the character Fu Manchu.
