Introducing Vinyl 180

We thought it was time we brought the good people at Vinyl 180 to your attention.
As their name suggests, they’re a relatively new company dedicated to reissuing classic records, remastered from their original analogue tapes, and pressing them up on 180g audiophile quality vinyl with high quality artwork to match.

Why we telling you this? Well, they’ve just reissued 1980’s ‘In The Flat Field’ by Bauhaus on both a single disc and a two disc version (which also includes the 4AD EP from 1983 pressed on white vinyl). It looks and sounds incredible and more than deserves a place in your record collection. More details here.

Among other 4AD reissues they’re planning, ‘Garden Of The Arcane Delights’ by Dead Can Dance is also out this month (on the 25th) and have two versions of ‘Head Over Heels’ by Cocteau Twins in the works.
A website and store worth bookmarking we’d say.

Sorry! After a little housekeeping on the website the above links don’t work. If you go to www.vinyl180.com you’ll get access to the site and you can navigate to the individual artists from there.
If you want to be added to the Vinyl 180 mailing list just go to the Contact page and enter your details. Thanks.
