Better Quality Picture!

Picture: Mick Hutson / Q Magazine

Above is the proof that Cocteau Twins did indeed pick up a Q Award yesterday!

The news section pic is tiny though so I thought I better repost it here as well.

News story of this can be found here.

  3. After this picture was taken, they all talked backstage and there making a new LP and touring soon. Right? I just want to cry when I see them together like that! Whoo Hoo!

  10. This band have made some of the most beautiful music there is, and their records continue to enchant me to this day, and surely will for years to come. It’s good to see them finally aknowledged. The fact that it took so long probably shows how much ahead of their time they were together. Do I want to see them work together again? Would it be the same? They have their own lives, and perhaps the past is better left there.

    A truly well deserved accolade.

  12. For years they were under-rated and overlooked. They truly deserve this accolade. But I know this is not the bands priority. Sharing with us (fans) their musical gifts are. Thank you, I still play all your albums.

  13. I’m glad Liz actually showed up!

I really hope we hear them together again one day. It’s torturous to deprive us of your talents and your voice, Liz!

  14. Great to see the huge talent that they are being recognised. I’ve been hoping for years that they tour again – please come to Australia!

  15. I just got into this band in the last year although I’ve owned some of their albums and didn’t really listen to them until a comp CD. They have become a musically addition since then and are up there with my new favorite groups. I’m glad 4AD still puts out great music.

  16. Cocteau twins remain one of my ever favourite bands together with a few 4ad bands from the 80’s. it would be nice to see them together again( and play live in Oporto, Portugal of course).
